There is a lot of heavy “get rich with this program” promotion going on for what I call “cookie-cutter” affiliate websites. You sign up, pay a fee (often a down stroke and a monthly hosting/service price) and you get a pre-made website. You are told you can just sit back and watch the dollars flow in. Typically the only person that gets rich with this kind of a deal is the person running the website program in the first place. Even re-sellers of the program, if they have their own affiliate offering, seldom make any real money!

It’s unseasonably cold this morning. 27F with the wind chill factor. That’s cold, folks! But it’s a good Sunday morning. The website is all but done. Oh, sure, there’s a few bits and pieces that need a little messing with but all in all it is ready to go. We’ve added the link to MSMOsites and we’re looking forward to our first visitors.

The amazing thing to me is that from concept to near completion the site took only three days. Three days! Most comparable sites would take a week to ten days minimum and could easily drag out for weeks. We are really more and more impressed with this WordPress website engine. It’s powerful, easy to use, and the theme (template design) process is fast. It makes the whole process enjoyable.

I am just getting my new website up and running and it will be a few days yet before everything is fully ready. The site will, of course, always be a work in progress. I will make posts here in the blog as things come to mind and update the content of the various pages when I find new things to share. Drop back often.
